Whiplash - Neck Strain
A strain of the neck, or the muscles around the cervical spine is often called whiplash. This neck muscle strain injury occurs when there is a sudden extension and flexion of the neck.

Cervical disc pain is a common cause of Cervical pain. Protrusion of one or more of the discs in the neck towards the spinal cord or nerve roots. Cervical disc herniations can cause neck, shoulder or arm pain, or neurologic symptoms such as arm or leg weakness or sensory problems.
